Love the first one … just adds that more modern touch to the room, but art is very personal, whatever makes you happy when you look at it , then that’s the one.
Agree with Julie, whatever you are drawn to is the right choice for you. I like the second one - horizontal lines will align with the horizontal line of the beadhead and help the room appear wider. The first one would feel like arrows pointing down at the guests to me, less restful imo. It would however add the illusion of a higher ceiling. The size is important - same or slightly smaller than bead head will create a balanced look.
I like the second as it draws me into the scene. The first I feel like I’m bashing into it. But as Julie said it’s personal. You will see it more than a guest
