Seacourt’s front yard was overgrown, tired, and dated. As an opportunity to showcase a street-side transformation, the Moss Boss Studios team brought it back to life as a bold frontage, with layers of depth oozing coastal and exotic vibes.

With a brief to merge this client's two favourite aesthetics, their newly photo-worthy street presence features a coastal and exotic planting palette. Strategically grouped for similar sun and water requirements, the mixture of colours, shapes, and textures result in captivating visual appeal.

After:
Hardy, low-maintenance plants were chosen to withstand the strong winds and salt spray familiar to this coastal location. For a visually pleasing mix of Aloe vera and golden barrel cactus and interspersed with rhaphiolepis, westringia and prostrate casuarina (Cousin It).
Before:
After:
Pig face ground covering spills over old brick for a wild, lived-in feel. Off-centre, a statement dracaena draco gives a strong architectural form to the design. Accentuating the property’s old, industrial charm is a rustic, MBS-made letterbox made from recycled railway sleepers and corten, framed with sandstone boulders.

After:
The result? A super low maintenance, high-impact frontage that creates a sense of privacy while still providing an airy outlook from within the property.
