Hi, We have a tree on our nature strip which is not growing as quick as the tree across the road. The trees were planted at the same time. Our neighbours do have a gardener though. What is the secret ingredient?
They appear to have looked after theirs by taking the lawn out from around it and making it “stand alone” without competing for water. Take the grass out from around it and water it regularly and add the appropriate plant feed.
It makes no difference that they have a gardener. Your yard looks as though it is lacking in water and maintenance. Spend some time in your front yard and weed and feed it. It will make you proud when it starts looking good.
Agree, your garden looks very dry, add an irrigation system if time poor, recommendations by dreamer will give more life to your tree and garden, seasol, powerfeed are great, these can be attached to your hose and will certainly get your garden looking beautiful. Put a tree ring around your tree, add a mulch either bark or stone to conserve moisture and you will definitely have a great garden.
