I’m in an apartment where the laundry and upstairs toilet windows have a gap in the pane at the top that is just a fly screen. This is not really needed for ventilation as I have a heat pump tumble drier, so all these gaps do is vent all the heat. As it’s Winter I’d quite like to stop all of the heat from escaping, but I’m renting, so can’t really do anything permanent short of getting the landlord to replace the windows.
Is there anything I could do about this that would actually make a difference?
