What size white wall tile ??

last month

Help we are going 450 x 450 yamba clay terrazzo floor tile in bathrooms, but can't find white wall tile the same size . So were going to go 300 x 600 white wall tile. But now 2nd guessing myself . Any suggestions? Just thinking about the grout lines 🤔

You could always use wall panels, Fontaine Industries, Mr Wet Wall, have grout less panels, it’s certainly a great idea , looks fantastic and no more grout. You could check them out before you make a decision on your tiles.

I would do a glass splash back [ this can be painted in your color choice to suit the decor ] - taking from the bench top up to the bottom of the range-hood on the wall of the stove. The window is beautiful and I would give anything to have them in my kitchen. I would probably paint OR stain and apply marine grade vanish to the would so that any moisture would not be able to ruin the wood. I would also put herbs or flowers there. Could it be made into a servery for outside maybe ???

I'm quite lucky that we have quite a large bathroom for over here. There all normally so small in older homes! I have a a lot of space to fill and was only going to use the tiles in the bath and on the floor. I find fully tiled bathrooms very very confining. White wall for the rest, apparently, according to the design guru. But it's ok, I've been told when it comes time to decorate the garage I can have whatever I want!!!!

The wall opposite the couch could hold the TV - would need to mount it on the wall and that would take a while as we would need to get someone in to do it (I love my husband but he's not the handiest). Where the photo was taken is a three seat couch, so couches are in an L shape.

Are you having the white tile on entire walls to ceiling? How are you laying the white tile? Vertical or horizontal? What colour grout are you having on the walls and the floors? I do not think there will be any problem, has long has having white grout with wall tiles and different grout colour on floor tiles.

My choice would be to go 300 x 450, matching the width of the floor tiles.
