The garden is defined by a series of rock walls holding raised gardens beds and a winding pathway of gravel. Raised beds allow the plants to spill over into the path, working with the twisting trail to obscure a traveler’s view and create a sense of mystery around the bend. New Eco Landscapes
Japanese courtyard garden in NYC. This garden was built in a dark courtyard on top of a roof. All plants are real and had to be planted within the mounds.

This compact, urban backyard was in desperate need of privacy. We created a series of outdoor rooms, privacy screens, and lush plantings all with an Asian-inspired design sense. Elements include a covered outdoor lounge room, sun decks, rock gardens, shade garden, evergreen plant screens, and raised boardwalk to connect the various outdoor spaces. The finished space feels like a true backyard oasis.

This zen style asian court yard is hidden behind the back of the house viewed from the bedroom and family room. The detailing and use of native materials is simply stunning. This space creates a calming sense to any one who views it.
