Renovated a classic bungalow bathroom and restored with a beautiful black glossy slate tile and white subway tile for the walls. A beautiful bathroom that matches the feel of the home.

Designing this spec home meant envisioning the future homeowners, without actually meeting them. The family we created that lives here while we were designing prefers clean simple spaces that exude character reminiscent of the historic neighborhood. By using substantial moldings and built-ins throughout the home feels like it’s been here for one hundred years. Yet with the fresh color palette rooted in nature it feels like home for a modern family.

Bathroom Remodel

This bath was total re-do. The original bath was inadequate and the pipes too old. We chose timeless white tiles and stainless steel fixtures to create a simple, modern look. Using the same cabinetry as in the kitchen, we were able to continue the theme, important in a small space. The

A once small, cramped space has been turned into an elegant, spacious bathroom. We relocated most of the plumbing in order to rearrange the entire layout for a better-suited design. For additional space, which was important, we added in a large espresso-colored vanity and medicine cabinet. Light natural stone finishes and a light blue accent wall add a sophisticated contrast to the rich wood furnishings and are further complemented by the gorgeous freestanding pedestal bathtub and feminine shower curtains. Between the views out all the windows and my clients great art collection there is a lot to see. We just updated a house that already had good bones but it needed to fit his eclectic taste which I think we were successful at.
