This jack & jill bathroom received a fresh new look through the use of slate tile floors, marble counter tops, polished chrome fittings, and a white lacquer floating vanity. Photos by Amy Bartlam.

This client chose this beautiful glass tile and accented his bathroom with a modern style faucet and a linear drain in his sink.

A once small, cramped space has been turned into an elegant, spacious bathroom. We relocated most of the plumbing in order to rearrange the entire layout for a better-suited design. For additional space, which was important, we added in a large espresso-colored vanity and medicine cabinet. Light natural stone finishes and a light blue accent wall add a sophisticated contrast to the rich wood furnishings and are further complemented by the gorgeous freestanding pedestal bathtub and feminine shower curtains. This compact bath is a total renovation to replace old, non-functioning fixtures and plumbing. We replaced it with a timeless design of white tiles and stainless fixtures. The cabinetry is painted in the same style as the kitchen to continue the flow throughout the apartment. Thanks to Caroline Owens for her pictures.

A traditional style home brought into the new century with modern touches. the space between the kitchen/dining room and living room were opened up to create a great room for a family to spend time together rather it be to set up for a party or the kids working on homework while dinner is being made. All 3.5 bathrooms were updated with a new floorplan in the master with a freestanding up and creating a large walk-in shower.

The walnut elements float above the grey slate floor, underlit by LED strips to increase the feeling of space in this internal room. Tumbled marble wall tiles balance the relative darkness of walnut and slate. The vanity base echoes the ellipse of the bowl basin to which the clients choice of a Hansgrohe glass mixer tap gives an exciting focus.

This site hosted a 1850s Farmhouse and 1920s Cottage. Newly renovated, they make for excellent guest cottages with fun living spaces!
