Our studio designed this beautiful home for a family of four to create a cohesive space for spending quality time. The home has an open-concept floor plan to allow free movement and aid conversations across zones. The living area is casual and comfortable and has a farmhouse feel with the stunning stone-clad fireplace and soft gray and beige furnishings. We also ensured plenty of seating for the whole family to gather around. In the kitchen area, we used charcoal gray for the island, which complements the beautiful white countertops and the stylish black chairs. We added herringbone-style backsplash tiles to create a charming design element in the kitchen. Open shelving and warm wooden flooring add to the farmhouse-style appeal. The adjacent dining area is designed to look casual, elegant, and sophisticated, with a sleek wooden dining table and attractive chairs. The powder room is painted in a beautiful shade of sage green. Our Austin studio decided to go bold with this project by ensuring that each space had a unique identity in the Mid-Century Modern style bathroom, butler's pantry, and mudroom. We covered the bathroom walls and flooring with stylish beige and yellow tile that was cleverly installed to look like two different patterns. The mint cabinet and pink vanity reflect the mid-century color palette. The stylish knobs and fittings add an extra splash of fun to the bathroom. The butler's pantry is located right behind the kitchen and serves multiple functions like storage, a study area, and a bar. We went with a moody blue color for the cabinets and included a raw wood open shelf to give depth and warmth to the space. We went with some gorgeous artistic tiles that create a bold, intriguing look in the space. In the mudroom, we used siding materials to create a shiplap effect to create warmth and texture – a homage to the classic Mid-Century Modern design. We used the same blue from the butler's pantry to create a cohesive effect. Our "Move all the things" project is a great example of sometimes the best option is to completely rework the footprint of the space and start fresh. Which means none of the before pictures will make sense because we moved everything around. Love how this turned out for our clients.

The master bathroom is large with plenty of built-in storage space and double vanity. The countertops carry on from the kitchen. A large freestanding tub sits adjacent to the window next to the large stand-up shower. The floor is a dark great chevron tile pattern that grounds the lighter design finishes.

The master bath suite was originally three rooms with a soaker tub with steps up and down to enter, in a giant concrete structure. Our goal was to make the most of the available space and maximize function, while keeping plumbing locations the same. The space feels open and modern. With a well-balanced design that is both classic and modern, natural marble is accented with a touch of gold for an elegant and timeless look. The texture-rich vanity feels more like a piece of furniture than a traditional built-in, allowing access to the lower window. Complemented by simple, gold-rimmed mirrors, the space feels modern with a hint of rustic charm.

This dressed up and sophisticated bathroom was outdated and did not work well as the main guest bath off the formal living and dining room. We just love how this transformation is sophisticated, unique and is such a complement to the formal living and dining area.

Traditional Hall Bath with Wood Vanity & Shower Arch Details

The goal was to open up this bathroom, update it, bring it to life! 123 Remodeling went for modern, but zen; rough, yet warm. We mixed ideas of modern finishes like the concrete floor with the warm wood tone and textures on the wall that emulates bamboo to balance each other. Our clients decided to take their childhood home down to the studs and rebuild into a contemporary three-story home filled with natural light. We were struck by the architecture of the home and eagerly agreed to provide interior design services for their kitchen, three bathrooms, and general finishes throughout. The home is bright and modern with a very controlled color palette, clean lines, warm wood tones, and variegated tiles.

Light and Airy shiplap bathroom was the dream for this hard working couple. The goal was to totally re-create a space that was both beautiful, that made sense functionally and a place to remind the clients of their vacation time. A peaceful oasis. We knew we wanted to use tile that looks like shiplap. A cost effective way to create a timeless look. By cladding the entire tub shower wall it really looks more like real shiplap planked walls. The center point of the room is the new window and two new rustic beams. Centered in the beams is the rustic chandelier.
