Another view of the audio/ video gear area with adjustable shelving and the rollout tray for the McIntosh preamp/ processor that allows easier access for gear changes or repairs.
The down-firing subwoofer is below and mounted on an Auralex Subdude isolation platform to minimize interaction with the cabinet. Sub area also includes extensive acoustic foam for minimum cabinet reflection and better low frequency clarity.
In front of the sub is an air intake for max airflow to the gear cooling fans below the rollout tray. Warm air from the gear is routed through the top of the cabinet via a hidden vent behind the upper shelves.

The Living Room in this open floor bungalow is the focal point when you come in the front door. The coffered ceiling with wallpaper accents creates a cozy feeling to curl up and read a book or to entertain.
The custom leather wing chair recliners are a beautiful modelled leather that look elegant while adding a very comfortable seating option. The brass nailhead accents the chairs.
The large-scale floral patterned area rug, stone fireplace and tops cushions add warm details among the cool grey tones.

Modern, Rustic, industrial, and traditional: all rolled into one in this living room. Both sides of the living room are identical, thus creating a perfectly symmetrical space. Custom Sofa by GILDED HOME. www.gildedhome.com

Inside, the FORMAL LIVING ROOM starts the mix of Greys. These are all contrasted with a double sided fireplace wall that is lacquered in Piano Black for drama. The chairs in the foreground are antiques the owners brought back from their time living in London. Paul from HOM. Interiors had the seats re-upholstered and added bolster pillows that tied into the other custom pillows and drapes. The walls are a soft London foggy grey.

The spaces within the house are organized with the public areas running south to north, arrayed on the brow of the slope looking toward the water in the distance. Perpendicular, the private spaces (bedroom, baths, and study) run east to west. The private spaces are raised and have wood floors, as opposed to the concrete floors of the public areas.
