We are replacing carpet throughout the small 120m2 country house we have in Hanmer Springs, New Zealand. We want quality wool carpet but it is difficult to get enough in one batch for the whole area. A sisal with quite a strong neutral loop runs over a lower teal/cobalt/steelbluegrey twill on the lower strip. Looking at an angle you mainly see the higher loop but it wasn't my choice as I wanted a more homogenous look. I can get this is a cheaper less quality flat weave. Which way to go?
