You mention the house is slurried brick, and I love the effect - very subtle compared to most. Was a specific product used to slurry the brick or was it simply mortar?
We used a white sand mortar mix and painted it into the brick after the brick had been there 50 years. It was thin like paint in some places and thicker in others which gives it a timeless appeal
