I say yes, it is! I can relate 100%. We are building a new home, and I've been doing most of the selections & meetings. I've been looking at paint chips, rugs, fabric swatches and furniture until I'm blue in the face. I think it's ok to take a step back and not have every last loose end or finish choice buttoned up immediately. Give yourself permission to take a mental break from it and come back to it later. Actually, just reread a bunch of the tile places and they all say not to use in shower. Bummer - that's out. However would still love ideas on what to do around it and if anyone can think of a way to update the acrylic walls? Or maybe it won't be as bad with new fixtures/shower curtain in better lighting... fingers crossed... just trying to get ideas together.

Hey guys - im wanting to renovate my small bathroom, its around 56 sqft, replacement of standard shower over bath, single vanity and toilet, tile floor and tiled wall just within shower/bath alcove. No changes to plumbing location. Have a quote for $9500 just for labour and rough materials (I have purchased all fixtures, finishings etc for a total of 3k), is that labour quote reasonable? Nothing is tricky, ie; standard stacked tile pattern etc. Im in Oakland, CA, so I imagine that effects the price. Any advice would be massivly appreciated! Thanks!
