Entrance way help?
Comments (8)Hi! I think if you move the vase to the left of the table and place a few items in front of it, it would be more warm and inviting. Here are a few ideas: http://deciture.com/shop/decor/world-market/whitewash-wood-finish-bird-finials-set-2/ http://deciture.com/shop/decor/world-market/kylie-bird-frames/ http://deciture.com/shop/decor/home-decorators-collection/antique-finials-set-3/ Hope this helps you!...See MoreTCs front entry
Comments (6)I agree with havingfun, thicken the supports and have something growing trailing up them. I didn't even notice there was a pergola until the close up. Right now it blends in too well with the house color, consider painting it a different color. I don't know your usda zone but classic climbers for a pergola include clematis, wisteria, grape https://www.houzz.com/photos/santa-ynez-valley-mediterranean-porch-santa-barbara-phvw-vp~2485412 or go for a modern look You can also hang string lights, planters or something from the beams. Also agree lighten the front door....See Morefront entrance redo!!!
Comments (5)Thanks for the extra pics. Still thinking along the same line. Trim the bushes by the sidewalk to make the sidewalk more visible and accessible. If you can, replace the package with new door with clear glass or no glass and new sidelights or none. Put in a courtyard that comes out to the white wall with whatever works for you. Pavers, pavers and gravel, low decking, concrete, tile, brick. Anything. Add bench , chairs , mini trees in pots flowers. Make it welcoming. Could even add a trellis over the area. Deck could be made smaller and planting beds put in under Windows for small shrubs or flowers. Grass in the area between the ac unit and the driveway. Add a walk way from drive to the deck in material that works withe the rest. I would add pictures but don't know how....See MoreNeed ideas & advice for my Gardens - Mediterranean/Tuscan style
Comments (1)Looks like the palm tree look is working so I would blend that with some succulents maybe agave which can grow large and make great statement plants. Also stick with the stones....See MoreRema Tarazi
