Looking for help on bedrooms layout
Comments (29)I think the first layout is fine. You might want to consider moving the door for the storage room of the master bedroom so that it opens into the hall. That way the kids can use it for overflow storage. Also, that hallway is big enough that I think it could hold a large armour, providing more closet space. (There's no need to sleep in the same room as your clothes, so long as they're not too far off.) Also, don't forget that while the drawing shows kids in double beds, this need not be the case, so there will be more room for furniture (dressers or whatever) in their rooms. Finally, that step to bedroom 4 will not be odd at all. I've seen it in other homes. It looks clumsy in the drawing but it isn't. What you'll see when you come up the stairs is a bedroom door on a slight diagonal. It's only an odd jagged step if you walk like a robot, in straight lines along the wall, which is what your eye is doing on the drawing but you won't do in real life....See Morebedroom
Comments (1)Depends on what kind of fittings you'd like on the pendants! If you're happy with the smaller ones, don't worry about changing them unless they don't provide enough light....See MoreBedroom Wall Art
Comments (2)Hi. My instinct is to use a set of pictures of a consistent style and theme -- and I'm thinking photographs. I think b/w pics would look wonderful, but not with the pendant light you have. So if that is staying, I'd prefer more feminine and colourful pics. If you were to use b/w, I think a slim black frame and a matte that picks up the grey of the wall would be great to transition between that and the photographic grey. Colour could get away with no matte, but I'd still suggest a very slim black frame to outline the images. As below -- please click on the image if you can't see both the room and the two sample pictures. The colour one came from a common domain site; I've provided the source of the other (though I cropped it -- the original is even better). http://www.alienregion.com/bpinbw.html...See MoreTotally changing bedroom!!
Comments (24)Okay, so I like it simple and modern, big stripes, big blocks, love this and this I really like uncluttered look. like this to https://www.houzz.com/photos/murphy-beds-modern-rendering-phvw-vp~24435627 , and I like my dark grey's and browns not to mention light blues, yellows, oranges and reds clashy aye.(not sure if these colors will work with the wood, really like the idea of staining the wood darker to more like this https://www.houzz.com/photos/rubin-residence-contemporary-bedroom-san-francisco-phvw-vp~5202610).
