As you have given no guidelines to adhere to, what about this. Or maybe a light blue with white trim on posts and gutters and windows. And a orange door, to blend in with your dark terracotta tiled roof. Then landscape, landscape, landscape...
The current tender works with the bricks on unrendered part of the house. Are you planning on rendering all round? If not, I’d stay with a similar colour to what you have currently or leave as is. The windows look fairly new and whilst you can paint them I’d seriously consider the need to. The verandah and lack of landscaping are the two main things that let the house down and this is where I’d spend money first.
Thanks everyone for taking the time to share your ideas. I definitely plan on landscaping after I have addressed the home itself. The roof was recently restored. Yesterday I spoke to a painter who suggested dune dowell windows with double strength dune paint on render with ivory eaves and veranda posts, and deep ocean blue gutters and door.
Four colours are too much for your house. I like Dune although you’re not limited to sticking with Colorbond colours. Match the gutters to the walls. They aren’t an architectural item to be highlighted. And match the post and other wooden trim to the windows. You can go crazy with the front door and have whatever colour you love.
Are you replacing the gutters or just painting existing? If you’re replacing you’ll have to have Dune. If you’re painting you can have double strength.
Colorbond is a steel product that comes in set colours. So Colorbond steel gutters in dune, you can not change. But, Dulux paint Colorbond Dune, can be in any strength.
