Sally was asked to design and oversee the complete refurbishment of this stunning yet poorly converted one bedroom apartment set in a handsome period mansion block on the outskirts of Covent Garden in Central London. Enormously high ceilings give this apartment a New York lofty feel while large original windows flood the space with natural light. Sally discovered that original windows and decorative pillars had been boarded up and so immediately set about reinstating these unique period features. A streamlined kitchen with expansive lightly veined worktops and contemporary oak cabinetry was designed to compliment a classic oak parquet floor, giving the apartment a light, contemporary and natural feel. Rich tones of walnut, brushed brass, shades of tobacco and forest green leather, chocolate velvet and earthy linens were all added to create a layered and eclectic palette set against a backdrop of atmospheric teal and interesting off-beat light fittings.

Un elegante soggiorno moderno con un ampia finestra offre una vista spettacolare su lago di Como e sulle montagne. Lo spazio, arredato con tonalità neutre di bianco e grigio, è diviso in una zona salotto con divano curvo e poltrona con poggiapiedi e una zona pranzo con tavolo rotondo sormontato da una lampada dal design contemporaneo . Il soffitto con travi a vista in legno chiaro e un parquet in rovere con quadrotte decorate aggiungono un tocco di calore e tradizione all'ambiente moderno. This inviting living and dining room blends contemporary style with mid-century furnishings and stunning lighting. Deep green tones paired with dark wood bring the essence of the outdoors inside, while layered textiles add depth and warmth, creating a dynamic and welcoming atmosphere.

We created a botanical-inspired scheme for this Victorian terrace living room updating the wall colour to Inchyra Blue on the walls and including a pop a colour in the lamp shades. We redesigned the floorplan to make the room practical and comfortable. Built-in storage in a complementary blue was introduced to keep the tv area tidy. We included two matching side tables in an aged bronze finish with a bevelled glass top and mirrored bottom shelves to maximise the light. We sourced and supplied the furniture and accessories including the Made to Measure Olive Green Sofa and soft furnishings.
