Need ideas for small beach house update
Comments (4)I, too, would love to see pix of your beach house. I have a townhouse in Florida and am in the process of decorating it. One idea I have come across, and have been thinking of incorporating, is using painter's canvas dropcloths for an inexpensive, yet beachy, look. They can be washed to soften them up and used as bedcovers or throws over older upholstered furniture. They can be used as drapery or shower curtains by adding clip rings. They can even be used as floorcloths or wall hangings. Hope you can use at least one of these ideas!...See MoreAny ideas for the living room?
Comments (10)Great space, love the room.. Have you ever considered painting the ceiling in a fun, vibrant color? Might be just the thing you need to brighten up the space. If you are in the market to look for new furniture pieces, be sure to check out www.bryght.com, they have stylish, modern pieces without the markup. Comments (4)Well the piece above the fireplace really overwhelms the space, and most specifically the fireplace. Is there another wall space anywhere that can showcase it? trying to use this piece in such a small area makes everything else lose its appeal, it has to fight to be seen. For sure move the sofa where it faces the fireplace, or set at an angle facing where you hv the TV set to be mounted. If you can, leave the chair in the same area, use the table the TV is sitting on as a coffee table for both. The way that makes the space work is the way you need it....See MoreI need help in my living area
Comments (12)Hey! Great space! The table is too small for the space, it would immediately help if you had head chairs on either end of the table. It would read larger. If you're interested in a new dining set, try a round dining table, seating at least 6 for size. You need something to define each space, a new furniture arrangement could help. I would try rotating the sectional so that its off of the window. Good Luck!...See MoreHoor Almu
