We have a 1960s brick home and decided to embrace the brick (after considering rendering it). I feel like our front door needs to be replaced, it’s not in great condition and has a few gaps. I love the style but I think a more modern timber door might be what the house needs. Thoughts?
I’m trying to make some minor changes to the facade to bring this beauty back to life. We installed a glass balustrade out the front as we have a one year old and needed the safety. But also retained the views from our lounge. We will be keeping the stairs as they are and a fresh coat of white paint is the plan.
The outdoor blinds are rusty now and will most likely go, which is a shame because I love the yellow and white stripes. Plus they are great for the summer months. Should we replace them?
We are working with a landscape designer at the moment too for the garden.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated on any of the above.
