The Big Bang dining table is based on our classic Vega table, but with a surprising new twist. Big Bang is extendable to accommodate more guests, with center storage for two fold-out butterfly table leaves, tucked out of sight. Collapsed, Big Bang measures 50”x50” to accommodate daily life in our client’s small dining nook, but expands to either 72” or 94” when needed. Big Bang was originally commissioned in white oak, but is available in all of our solid wood materials. Several coats of hand-applied clear finish accentuate Big Bangs natural wood surface & add a layer of extra protection. The Big Bang is a physical theory that describes how the universe… and this table, expanded. This beautiful kitchen in Huntington Bay embodies everything we love about living on Long Island. This is country living on the bay at its finest, and the white custom kitchen cabinetry creates a perfectly soothing palette for peace and tranquility at home.

We apply marble tiles flooring with black and white for the backsplash, table top, walls and cabinets as a more neutral modernism palette. As walk forward to the laundry area, we apply a little dramatic mosaic tiles to distinct between two sections.

This full-level owner’s suite complete with custom pella windows, cathedral ceilings, recessed lighting, 36” contemporary rod ceiling fan, feature limousine black painted feature wall with 3-D wood paneling on 1/3rd of the wall to creating interesting form and flow; is also complimented by dual controlled pendant honeycomb reading lights. This was a fun one for us to design and build.
