I wonder why the Rumpus room has a West Facing window instead of a South facing which looks out over the Reserve, is this just to satisfy the exterior cladding design?
One of the three windows on the bottom level is a bathroom so privacy must be considered. The screen in B makes sense for functionality and I think looks good.
Will BR2 have a raked ceiling? Does the occupant have any preference for window furnishings, keeping in mind a bedroom has greater need for privacy than a living space? A sloping window can be more difficult regarding window furnishings. At least it's not west facing.
Ok looking t old post for floor plans. I get the screen in front of downstairs ensuite window. A must. I still like opt A. The original elevation in old post looks great. The room is a bedroom and no long view. a big angle window will be tricky in respect to window furnishing.
Is this the finalised floorplan? It's different to what was posted before, and it doesn't look like issues were addressed.
Hard to read the plan, but a few examples:
Wasted space with walk-in robes?
Lack of other storage? Voids are not energy efficient, potential for cupboards on both levels there instead. Future-proofing win-win.
Lots of ensuites but only one bathtub, in an ensuite?
Do you really want the laundry through the butlers pantry?
Have you thought about things like soundproofing for the media room which adjoins bedrooms? Size of ensuites downstairs, which presumably are for older members of your extended family, and how future-proofed they are?
