So basically. 5yo boy will be in Bed 2 and 1yo girl in Bed 3 but Bed 2 is massive. If 5yo takes Bed 3, could our 1yo have the Study as her room and we use Bed 2 for other things? Cheers.
i would put the 5 yr old in bed 3 and the one year old in the study and keep the bigger bed 2 for a shared family area for playtime, nightime book reading etc...clothes for the youngest can be easily stored in a chest of drawers so no need for a wardrobe and arrangement can change as kids grow older
Study is perfect for a one year old. They don’t need a lot of room. You can have a small single bed, small drawers and maybe just a small bookcase. Adapt your home to suit the years as needed.
Agree that things can change. At present you need playroom space. As they get a bit older study could be the smaller tv room. As they get older the study becomes wir \desk for the girl in bedroom. 3 when they have tv in own rooms. But you could have an extra child by then! So day 1 girl in study, boy in bed 3. In 3-5 years move boy to bed 2 and girl to bed 3, then study ultimately gets absorbed at some point by girl. Later girl takes over the world .;)
I hope that no child has a television in their own room. Unless they are 30 and still living at home! Learning our to share is only having one television.
Look our pretty this is for a little girl. Utilising all wall space, which I think works for your study room with the highlight windows. So bed and other furniture will not block windows.
There is enough room in the study room for a single bed to be placed in the middle. And because the door is to the side. The above was just a inspirational example of what is possible in a smaller room. 😃
