Stylish brewery owners with airline miles that match George Clooney’s decided to hire Regan Baker Design to transform their beloved Duboce Park second home into an organic modern oasis reflecting their modern aesthetic and sustainable, green conscience lifestyle. From hops to floors, we worked extensively with our design savvy clients to provide a new footprint for their kitchen, dining and living room area, redesigned three bathrooms, reconfigured and designed the master suite, and replaced an existing spiral staircase with a new modern, steel staircase. We collaborated with an architect to expedite the permit process, as well as hired a structural engineer to help with the new loads from removing the stairs and load bearing walls in the kitchen and Master bedroom. We also used LED light fixtures, FSC certified cabinetry and low VOC paint finishes. Regan Baker Design was responsible for the overall schematics, design development, construction documentation, construction administration, as well as the selection and procurement of all fixtures, cabinets, equipment, furniture,and accessories. This custom fire pit was crafted from locally sourced black basalt boulders and surrounded by decomposed granite on the ground. We also built some simple but elegant cedar adirondack chairs and small benches from left over barn beams.

Loft Pendant By LBL Lighting A characteristic ribbed metal shade and metallic cage combine in this stylized and elevated interpretation of industrial high bay lighting to create an amazing large-scale statement pendant light. Rubberized paint on the spun-metal shade provides a smooth, matte finish while a choice of metallic plated cage adds a custom look with the Loft Grande pendant light from LBL Lighting.

We had to perfectly design a never-before-attempted template to remove the ugly grids his older, aluminum window frames had made. His majestic view of Los Angeles was replaced by 16 ugly aluminum windows which were deteriorating right before his eyes. His exact comments were, "Thank you for reminding me why I moved in here and purchased this home in the first place. You guys gave me my view back." We could not be happier.
